teach our kids to be responsible with money

Divi's Dino Share Club
Divi's Dino Share Club is available for our youngest members age 12 years and younger. A Classic Savings account accompanies club membership and saving is encouraged using a Savings Goal Program. The purpose of the club is to teach children the value of saving and expand their knowledge of money and finances. The club will help build a solid foundation for saving as our young members grow into adults.

Join The Club
Joining Divi's Dino Share Club is as simple as becoming a member and opening a Classic Savings account (which we like to call a "Dino Share Account"). When a child opens their account, they receive a Dino Share Club membership card and a special gift for becoming a member.

Saving Is Fun!
Divi's Dino Share Club combines fun activities with saving money. Divi the Dinosaur is the mascot of the club and he loves to plan fun activities for club members. Activities include a 5-Spot and AJ's online games and learning, coloring contests, quarterly drawings for cash, an annual Youth Savings Week celebration and other fun activities.

Family Can Help
Parents or guardians are strongly advised to encourage their children to actively participate in club activities. The more involved the child becomes, the more they can watch their savings grow. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other family members often give children money for birthdays, holidays, and special events. Encourage your child to deposit this money, or a portion of it, into their Dino Share account to help them reach their savings goals.

Online Programs
5-Spot is an online clubhouse that helps youth practice saving, spending and sharing money in a fun way. It offers games and stories that introduce them to money concepts, Stories about school, free time and using the internet appropriately and different calculators to help children understand savings, pet costs and more. Youth can even earn virtual money by playing activities and spend it decorating a personal, virtual clubhouse.

AJ's, a toolkit for more advanced youth (ages 11-13) offers educational interaction while teaching responsibility. Students can vote on plot developments for the money management comic strip, post notes to friends (safely and securely monitored), build their own super-hero identities, play games, read stories about people, money and their future. They can even use calculators installed to help them understand savings, spending and budgeting.
